One Foot in the Groove
One Foot In The Groove, an 8 piece party band from Devon that formed in 2010. Back then, just like The Commitments, we were a bunch of misfits all doing our own thing but had a shared passion and love of music and wanted to get out and play to live audiences. We play a mix of Soul, Funk, Ska and generally groovey tunes from the 60’s right up to present day and create a great party atmosphere. Save your money at the gym, join us and dance till you drop.
New Daze
Together Jessy Plum and Oli Syrett are New Daze – a foot stomping folk, gypsy, hip hop duo – living and making music in Torquay
Sea Eagles Band
Sea Eagles are acoustic duo Angie and Barney Dine. Playing classic tunes to help those drinks slip down and your feet start tapping.
Barney Dine has been playing guitar since he was sixteen with his medieval band Dr Frank & the Thinline Groovers. After a few years in London working as a session guitarist playing he moved back to Devon and formed a new band, Daddy Mango, who enjoyed much success around the South West. When the Mango split he and his wife Angie went travelling around Europe, busking and gigging in various cities before returning home to Devon to start a family and form his current band 3BF. Barney also runs Ocean Recording Studios in Paignton. Angie has been playing bass since 2003 with several different outfits across the South West.

Leah Sanders was appointed as our Musical Director in 2016. She brings a wealth of music experience and a love of different styles (from African through to modern pop): but more than these an infectious energy, enthusiasm, and belief that everyone has the gift of music within them. Her challenge is to unlock this gift in each of us and then combine our voices in harmony to make a unique, uplifting sound.
