Formed in 2010, One Foot In The Groove is an eight-piece party band from Devon with a passion for bringing people together through great live music. Much like the band in The Commitments, we started as a group of musical misfits from different walks of life, united by one thing: a love of music and a desire to get out there and perform.

From classic soul and infectious funk to upbeat ska and feel-good floor fillers, we serve up a groove-packed set spanning the 1960s right through to today’s biggest crowd-pleasers. Our mission is simple: fill the dance floor, lift the atmosphere, and keep the party going all night long.

Emma Pick

Devon-based singer-songwriter Emma Pick brings a captivating blend of acoustic, pop, country, and indie music to every performance. With a repertoire that combines much-loved covers and beautifully crafted original songs, Emma creates the perfect soundtrack for any occasion.

A familiar face on the local live music scene, Emma regularly performs at venues, pubs, festivals, and events across Devon, winning over audiences with her warm stage presence and soulful vocals. Whether she’s putting her own spin on popular favourites or sharing music from her original collection, Emma delivers a heartfelt and engaging performance that connects with listeners of all ages.

From laid-back acoustic sessions to lively festival crowds, Emma Pick’s versatile style and genuine passion for music make every show a memorable experience.

Unity in Sound Community Choir

Unity in Sound Community Choir is a women’s choir based in Ipplepen. There are currently around 50 members, a mix of ages, life stages, and backgrounds.

Leah Sanders was appointed as our Musical Director in 2016. She brings a wealth of music experience and a love of different styles (from African through to modern pop): but more than these an infectious energy, enthusiasm, and belief that everyone has the gift of music within them. Her challenge is to unlock this gift in each of us and then combine our voices in harmony to make a unique, uplifting sound.

DJ Dave Clemo

Get ready for smooth sounds and uplifting beats as Dave Clemo takes you on a journey through deep and progressive house from day into evening. Clemo began his DJ career spinning trance, house, and deep house at iconic venues such as Blue Cargo in Torquay. He’s a regular fixture at the Torquay Classic Trance Boat Parties and the Euphoria Weekender, and his sets always hit just the right vibe. Having shared the stage with big names including The Space Brothers and Lange (among many others), Clemo brings experience and energy wherever he plays.
